Mr. Michael Caputo, a name that is known and revered in so many circles of Republican politics, truly knows who and what makes a winner. It is no surprise he stands with Frank, stating, “I have known Frank Morano for 17 years, and I can say without hesitation that he is exactly the kind of leader we need in public office. He’s smart, tough, and relentless in his fight for what’s right—qualities that are too often missing in today’s politics.

In light of all the political tricks thrown against President Trump, Mr. Caputo goes on to say, “I’ve been in the trenches for President Trump, serving in his administration and standing up to the sham investigations designed to destroy those of us who dared to put America First. I know what real fighters look like. Frank Morano is one of them. He won’t back down to the radical left, the bureaucrats, or the special interests trying to tear our country apart.

And while Mr. Caputo has been a long-time fixture in New York state politics and living out of this district, he acknowledges the importance of Frank Morano at the moment, saying that, “While I may not live in the district, I know how important this race is – not just for the people who call it home, but for the future of our nation’s most important city, which drives the future of our nation. Frank is a champion for Republican values, for common sense, and for the people he will serve. He is exactly the kind of leader we need on the City Council, and I’m proud to give him my strongest endorsement.”

It is that type of endorsement that matters. While a Staten Island city councilmember firmly represents their district, their impact extends beyond district lines to the entire city. And in so much, from the city, to the state, to the country. Experienced politicos like Michael Caputo know this, and it is for that reason why their endorsement matters.

From as far back as working with the the Reagan Administration with Oliver North, Michael Caputo has been involved in Republican politics. A director of media services on the campaign for President George H. W. Bush in the 1992 United States presidential election, to an advisor for multiple campaigns in New York state, to working for the Donald Trump 2016, he has left an indelible impact on the system, particularly his no-nonsense approach. In April 2020, at the height of COVID’s onslaught, he was appointed by the White House as assistant secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services for public affairs – in effect, the department’s chief spokesperson.
