On Tuesday, June 24th 2025 Frank Morano earned a decisive victory in the Republican primary for the South Shore City Council seat, winning more than 82% of the vote. This win is a clear sign that Staten Islanders are ready for strong, common-sense leadership that puts their families and neighborhoods first.
Frank’s victory was the result of months of tireless work. Our campaign knocked on doors in every kind of weather, made calls day after day, and stayed focused on the issues that matter most to Staten Islanders — safer streets, lower taxes, and real accountability from City Hall.
“We never took anything for granted,” Frank said on election night. “We stayed out there, we kept working hard, and I’m proud that so many Staten Islanders have put their trust in me. I’m ready to keep fighting for the families of the South Shore who deserve a voice at City Hall.”
Frank celebrated his win at Privé, surrounded by family, friends, supporters, and local leaders. Among those joining him were Councilmember David Carr, Assemblymembers Michael Tannousis and Mike Reilly, and former Councilman Joe Borelli — all of whom praised Frank’s dedication and hard work.
The campaign extends our deepest thanks to the voters who came out to support Frank, to the volunteers who made this victory possible, and to the entire Staten Island community. We’re just getting started. With your continued support, we will keep pushing for the kind of leadership Staten Island deserves — leadership that listens, works hard, and delivers results.
Stay tuned as we head toward the general election in November. Together, we will keep fighting for our community’s future.
