Too often, Staten Island gets left behind when it comes to city services, especially for our kids. Thanks to a new partnership between my office and NYC Parks, I’m proud to announce a slate of free summer programs at our local parks.
From arts and crafts to sports clinics and nature programs, these activities are about more than just fun — they’re about giving Staten Island families the same opportunities the rest of the city takes for granted.
We worked hard to cut through the red tape, and now kids across the borough can enjoy quality programming close to home, with no sign-up fees, no travel into Manhattan, and no excuses.
This is what government should be doing: giving families more and taking less.

Let’s keep building a Staten Island that works for everyone, especially our youngest residents.
