April 17, 2025 — Frank Morano, candidate for New York City Council, has been officially endorsed by the Assistant Deputy Warden/Deputy Warden Association (ADW/DWA). The endorsement highlights Morano’s consistent support for law enforcement and his commitment to public safety, particularly at a time when those in law enforcement are facing increasingly challenging and hazardous conditions.

The ADW/DWA, which represents deputy wardens, assistant deputy wardens, and other corrections professionals, expressed its confidence in Morano’s ability to advocate for the men and women who work daily to ensure the safety and security of New York City residents.

In a letter signed by Xiomara Maloney, President of the ADW/DWA, the association stated, “Frank Morano has consistently demonstrated strong support for law enforcement and public safety. At a time when our members face increasingly harsh and dangerous conditions on a daily basis, it is crucial to have City Council members who stand with us and understand the challenges we endure.”

The ADW/DWA’s endorsement adds to a growing list of support for Morano’s campaign. As a candidate committed to strengthening the city’s law enforcement policies and supporting those who serve, Morano has pledged to continue standing with first responders and advocating for public safety at the forefront of his platform.

Morano expressed gratitude for the endorsement, saying, “I am honored to have the support of the Assistant Deputy Warden/Deputy Warden Association. These dedicated professionals put their lives on the line every day to keep our city safe, and I will always stand by them as we work together to make New York City safer for everyone.”

The endorsement comes as Morano continues to build momentum in his bid for City Council, focusing on policies that protect both public safety and the men and women who serve in law enforcement roles throughout the city.
